FlowMesh lets you generate images and video with leading AI providers. This page explains, plainly, how safety works — what we do, what the providers do, and what we ask of you.

How safety works in FlowMesh

Your work stays on your device. FlowMesh runs locally and calls AI providers with your own API keys. Your prompts and any images or videos you upload go directly to the provider you choose; they are not received or stored on any FlowMesh server. Because that content never reaches us, we cannot — and do not — moderate it server-side.

Safety is enforced in two layers instead:

  1. The AI providers' own filters. Every supported provider applies its own content-safety and moderation filtering to what you send it. FlowMesh does not weaken or bypass those filters.
  2. Our rules, which you agree to. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits, without exception, child sexual abuse material (any depiction of anyone under 18, real or imaginary, photoreal or stylised) and non-consensual intimate or deepfake imagery of real people. Breaching those rules can end your access.

The providers you can use

You bring your own key for each. Each runs its own hosted safety filtering; FlowMesh applies the rules above on top:

  • OpenAI (GPT-Image) — photoreal and stylised images; hosted content moderation.
  • Google (Imagen / Veo) — photoreal images and video; hosted safety filters.
  • xAI (grok-imagine) — photoreal and stylised images and video; hosted moderation. Also powers in-app image editing and video extension.
  • Stability AI (SDXL) — photoreal and stylised images; used only through Stability's hosted, filtered service.

What we ask of you

You are responsible for your prompts, any media you upload, and everything you generate. Use FlowMesh lawfully and within the Acceptable Use Policy.

Reporting

If you see content or use that may break these rules or the law, tell us at Report a Concern. We escalate suspected child sexual abuse material to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the National Crime Agency (NCA-CEOP).
